DESCRIPTION:
E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 8 Regulator" figure eight, wall clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven movement in a walnut case with a painted metal dial and reverse painted throat and lower tablets.
CONDITION:
the case has an old refinish. There is a professional repair on the stepped bezel around the lower tablet. The genuine Howard pendulum bob has loss of damascene pattern. The original Howard weight is appropriately marked "3". The tablets are original and in excellent condition. The dial, which is the finest feature of this clock is all original and in excellent condition.
